Salt-loving black yeasts

If you were to sink as a little microbe into the aggressively salty brine, you could see various fungi amongst other salt-loving (halophilic) microorganisms. Black yeasts can be found everywhere - suspended in the brine, floating on its surface, and on the wooden boards around the ponds.
