Movement symbiosis

The fine fur turnes out as thick bacterial colonisation consisting of
rods and corkscrew-like spirochaetes. The section in the right
shows the anchorage of a rod (top) and two spirochaetes (bottom).
Surface colonising bacteria are called ectosymbionts. They are regularly arranged and anchored in the surface by specifically developed structures.
